Aim
Interventional Quarter (IQ) is published three times a year and aims to raise awareness of and provide accurate information on minimally invasive image-guided therapies (Interventional Radiology – IR).
A lack of awareness is still one of the main obstacles surrounding IR, which can prevent the need for invasive procedures. To overcome this, we have established IQ as a high-quality channel of communication to key decision-makers in healthcare.
We aim to provide a continuous flow of information which shows the successes and potential of IR as a promising alternative or adjunct to open surgery. By reaching other medical specialists, hospital managers and administrators, insurance companies and healthcare politicians, our goal is to facilitate patient access to gentle, minimally invasive solutions.
Interventional Radiologists are radiology specialists trained in performing minimally invasive image-guided therapies.
